Fall Camporee
Coweta District Fall Camporee will be held October 24-26. We invite all Boy Scouts to participate in the planning of this event. The committee would like every troop to send at least one representative to each meeting. The same boy does not need to attend every meeting but someone should be there to represent your troop. The Camporee Committee meets every 3rd Wednesday, 7 pm at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.
Recharter Time is Here
Need help with your recharter? Help sessions will be available November 4, 2008 at 7 pm at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2956 Sharpsburg McCullum Rd, Newnan, GA. Learn the ease of internet re-chartering and how to avoid the most common mistakes. Your re-charter pack will also be available for pick up at this time.
Do You Need a Last Minute Tax Write Off?
It is not too late to make an investment in the youth of Coweta County. HELP US REACH 100% OF OUR GOAL. We appreciate the units in Coweta County that recognize the value of Scouting and have participated in the 2008 Friends of Scouting Campaign. P41, P45, P47, P48, P50, P51, P52, P53, P55, P57, P97, P145, P570, P897, P2293, T46, T47, T48, T50, T55, T57, T58, T144, T242, T897, T2193. With the help from these units and community support we are at 72% of our 2008 District goal of $105,000. Scouting builds character, values, community and families. The money invested into Scouting helps us fund the FUN your scouts enjoy. If you would like to make an investment, please contact your Scout Leader or Peggy Murphy, or you can visit Friends of Scouting to make a pledge online.
