NYLT - National Youth Leadership Training
|
The National Youth Leadership Training Conference is a two-part leadership training program for youth leaders developed by the Boy Scouts of America. It consists of an orientation and a three-weekend outdoor “practical phase” and an “application phase”. During the practical phase, the Scout is trained in team building and leadership in an outdoor experience which calls on him to use all of his Scouting skills. During the application phase, the Scout applies the skills he has learned in his home Troop with the assistance of his Scoutmaster. The course is conducted by a staff of volunteer Scouts and Scouters selected for their knowledge and dedication.
