Recharter Information

Internet Rechartering is a simple, quick method that can be used from home, the office, or any online location. Electronic Rechartering is more convenient, less time consuming and it allows you , the volunteer, to enter the information.

You should receive your unit recharter packet with an instruction sheet, containing your unit access code to log into the rechartering system. Rechartering stations are provided at the Council Service Center in Griffin, during regular business hours, for units that do not have internet access.

The Internet Recharter system enforces all Boy Scouts of America policies and requirements, making it very easy for you to turn in a complete recharter. If your unit is currently using Pack Master or Troop Master software, we recommend that you start your internet recharter by accepting the ScoutNET data and do not upload from your unit software.

As the Council moves to mandatory use of Internet Rechartering for all Packs, Troops and Crews by August 2009, we encourage units that have not used the system to give it a try during the 2008/2009 recharter season. The council will be sponsoring Internet Recharter Training at the October and November Roundtables in each district. We encourage you to select the volunteer who will be managing your recharter process to attend and participate in this worthwhile training. The training will be held separate from the Roundtable and will be very interactive. If you have questions concerning Internet Rechartering contact the Council Service Center at 770-227-4556 or your district commissioner.
