Revenue Equals Program
The Ronotohachi District will host the 2009 Friends of Scouting campaign and Camp Promotions kick off on Tuesday, October 14, 7:00 pm at Fincher United Methodist Church in Meansville. This is an important meeting to introduce the 2009 Family Campaign and what is happening at camp. Please make sure your unit is represented.
Give each Boy a Chance
We are now preparing for one of the most important activities during the Scout Year. Signing up new boys is our chance to give every family the opportunity to become apart of the greatest youth organization in the world. We are sending a special request for our Boy Scout Troops to participate. We will be asking all Troops to attend an Open House are PTO meeting at your local middle school. Start preparing your units for this exciting and rewarding activity.
Training is the Key
Trained leaders provide better programming and retain more Scouts and families with their units. With all of the new leaders who have become a part of our programs during the year, this is an opportunity to get them involved. Send your new leaders to our New Leaders Essential, Scout Leaders Specific or Cub Leaders Specific Training. The next training will take place March 4. More information will be given out at Roundtable.
Join us at Roundtable
Are you looking for ways to provide program to your Packs and Troops? Do you need new ideas to keep your boys interest and involved, or get the latest information on District Activities and Events. If you do then Round Table is the Place to be. Our Round Table takes place every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The location is Fincher United Methodist Church, 219 Highway 109 East. If you are a Cubmaster or Scoutmaster and unable to attend, send someone from your unit. This is an open meeting and we want everyone to attend.
