Welcome to the summer camping season at the Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base. We have a tremendous facility for you and your troop to experience the best part of Scouting's outdoor program...Summer Camp! The deadline for registering for Flint River Council units is October 31, 2008.

Many activities await you and your Scouts at Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base. Everything from the thrill of experiencing the natural beauty of our Reservation, to earning merit badges, to completing rank advancement, to taking part in the special activities we have planned. Our camp staff is committed to providing you the best possible program. In order for us to best meet your needs, it will be important to plan your troop activities and advancement. Please take time before camp to determine what your troop program requirements are and communicate that information to us before you arrive. That will give us the opportunity to assist you in meeting your goals.
