Every Boy Deserves a Trained Leader

What does it take to be considered trained. Check your position below:

Cub Scout Leaders
All registered Cub Scout Leaders must complete the four following training courses to be considered trained:

  • Fast Start for their position (online or instructor led)
  • Youth Protection Training (online or instructor led)
  • New Leader Essentials (instructor led)
  • Cub Scout Leader Specific Training (for their position, instructor led)


Boy Scout Leaders
All registered Boy Scout Leaders must complete the following training courses to be considered trained:

  • Fast Start for their position (online or instructor led)
  • New Leader Essentials (instructor led)
  • Boy Scout Leader Specific Training (for their position, instructor led)


Venturing Leaders
All registered Venture Leaders must complete the following training courses to be considered trained:

  • Fast Start for their position (online or instructor led)
  • New Leader Essentials (instructor led)
  • Venture Leader Specific Training (for their position, instructor led)
