Boy Scout Merit Badge Day Camp

For the 4th year, we are excited to offer this fun program for our Boy Scouts! Scouts will learn from local professionals to earn the following merit badges. You can choose to take all 5 or just few.

Cost: $20 per class, Scouts must bring their lunch each day

Monday, July 11: Law Merit Badge

Location: Grifin Scout Service Center, 1361 Zebulon Rd, Griffin, GA 30224

Time: 9:00am- 2:00pm

Tuesday, July 12: Truck Transportation

Location: Bennett Trucking, 1001 Industrial Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253

Time: 8:30am- 3:30pm

Wednesday, July 13: Fly Fishing

Location: Lawhorn Scouting Base, 1166 Dripping Rock Rd, Molena, GA 30258

Time: 9:00am- 2:00pm

Thursday, July 14: Journalism

Location: Grifin Scout Service Center, 1361 Zebulon Rd, Griffin, GA 30224

Time: 9:00am- 12:00pm

Friday, July 15: Climbing

Location: Lawhorn Scouting Base, 1166 Dripping Rock Rd, Molena, GA 30258

Time: 8:30am- 5:00pm

Merit Badge Prerequisites

Law: None

Truck Transportation: None

Fly Fishing: None

Journalism: Requirement #4 will need to be completed AFTER the students take the class

Climbing: Scouts must be able to tie the knots listed in requirement #7 BEFORE attending class
